Sterkste Schakel 2021: TuineXtra wins ‘Best Website’

On Friday 16 April 2021, we had the pleasure of presenting the ‘Best Website’ award from Sterkste Schakel Rijnland 2021 to the winner, TuineXtra from Noordwijk.

Assessed against Google’s guidelines

Jaap van Duijn has been a judge in the ‘Best Website’ category of the 'Strongest Link' competition. In the Rhineland region, for the 2021 edition 60 companies . Each of them has been nominated by one or more of its clients. All these websites have been assessed by SEO Ninja in accordance with Google’s guidelines. The more user-friendly the website, the higher the score. TuineXtra Garden Centre in Noordwijk scored the most points and was the deserved winner of this series.

Why TuineXtra?

The TuineXtra website looks well-organised, neat and professional. Loading times are reasonable and it contains sufficient web content. As a garden centre, you naturally need to display lots of photos, and for most participants this was the biggest bottleneck. Images that are too large are detrimental to loading times and therefore also to user-friendliness. There were several websites from other participants that were graphically flawless. TuineXtra’s website wasn’t the most visually appealing, but it was the one that gave visitors the best overall user experience. Based on hundreds of factors, TuineXtra emerged as the winner.
